GARY MALKIN

GARY MALKIN is an award-winning composer/producer and performer dedicated to making a difference in the world by participating in projects that inspire the heart and catalyze social change. He has enjoyed a highly successful career for over 20 years, having received seven Emmys and six ASCAP awards acknowledging his work in film and television, commercials and CD production. Following the combined life events of the death of his father in 1991 and the birth of his daughter in 1992 a desire emerged to use his gifts for public service in more significant ways. Since then his music has supported film and TV with themes on tolerance, the environment, children’s welfare and interfaith spirituality. A sought-after keynote speaker and performer, he offers performances and trainings nationwide. Recently, he was asked to produce and musically direct the commemorative event on September 11th, 2002 at the Washington National Cathedral, entitled Voices from 9-11: A Gathering of Faith, Hope and Love. Gary recently scored the promotional short for The SHIFT with a fast paced, upbeat and engaging tempo that gives the viewer an emotional ride adding to the impact of the piece.
